My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Mufasa, and I'm a real tough guy! Please pay no attention to the fact that I love cheek scritches more than anything, or that I'll roll over to let you scratch my belly, or that I love to sing you the song of my people at 3 in the morning, just to let you know how much I love you. I'm a lover, not a fighter! See my curly ear, and my healing battle wounds? I used to be king of the streets, running my turf under an iron paw. Then I got in a big fight, where another cat bit me on the neck. My throne was usurped... and the wound got infected. A nice lady took me inside when she noticed the huge, ugly abscess on my neck. She took me to the vet and it turns out, somewhere along the line I became FIV+. The vet told her to pass on the message that FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives just like any other cat, but I should only be with other FIV+ cats, or very mellow cats who won’t try to pick a fight. My pelvis was fractured too, so I had to be on cage rest for awhile. I'm between 5 and 6 years old, have been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I'm waiting for you. Bonus, I have extra toes, but there's no extra charge for that! Contact ALF if you're interested in letting me be king of your castle!
