Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Captain came to Twin Pines Veterinary Clinic with a mangled femur in need of medical attention. We were able to amputate the femur and Captain's recovery process is going well. He is adjusting well to using 3 legs. Captain is an affectionate cat. In fact, he is fond of one of the staff members as he follows her everywhere.
Captain is looking for a loving family as an indoor pet who will receive lots of love. It will be important to keep him inside so he is safe. Captain will not be able to climb or get away as fast as he needs to from outdoor predators or dangers.
Because we have only known Captain for a short time at the clinic, we do not know how he is around other dogs or cats. We always encourage slow, structured, and supervised introductions. Since he has warmed up well with staff members, it is believed that he would do well with children who know how to respect a cat's space and treat them with gentle hands.
Captain will be a great pet for a loving family!
