Here's what the humans have to say about me:
SPONSORS/DONATIONS NEEDED: NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. This sweet cocker boy has a long road of recovery before he can find a forever home. His initial needs have been addressed one by one and he has completed heartworm treatment. Please donate to help us with his vet costs. He came to CCR badly matted and horribly neglected. He came in thin, anemic, with ear infections, partial facial paralysis, tick disease and advanced heartworm. Your donation in any amount is appreciated, greatly needed and is tax deductible. Please donate to help Stewart get better so that he can eventually find his forever home. We thank you for your kindness.
My name is Stewart and life for me has not been so good. I am a neutered, buff n white cocker spaniel boy now about 8 to 10 years old. A shelter had contacted this rescue saying I was about 7 last year and in awful shape. I was found as a stray wondering the streets by a Good Samaritan who brought me to a NC shelter. I came in loaded with ticks, badly matted, muddy and filthy dirty with dirt caked on my legs and underside like no one had taken care of me for quite awhile. The shelter couldn't adopt me out because I tested as heartworm positive.
Here at the rescue vet, they say that my eyes and teeth tell them that I am a younger boy, possibly 5. I have been cleaned up, groomed, treated for ticks, anemia and bad ear infections. I have partial facial paralysis from neglect of past care. I have had a dental, I am updated on shots and these folks got my heartworm treatment done. I am a sweet, very happy dog with a sparkling personality. Please sponsor me by sending in donations to help with my care. After I am feeling better, I look forward to having a family adopt me who will give me a loving home and the good life that I deserve. I will be a wonderful dog for someone to adopt, love and spend quality time with as a favorite companion. I completed heartworm treatment and have been on recovery time. Just recently, I have started having more health issues and have been taken back to the vet. Please donate to help with my vet costs to help me get well.
Please send in donations to: CCR, P.O. Box 1050, Kannapolis, NC or you can use Paypal to: larrydonnacarp@aol.com. by going to our CCR website to find the donate button. Please help us to pay the vet costs for this sweet cocker boy to get his needs taken care of. His health is important and we must try to get him well so that he can live a good life. He has completed heartworm treatment.
