Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Stewie is a silver & white pit mix and approximately 50 pounds. This poor boy did not have a good start to life. He was clearly neglected and ignored at his original home, and found wondering the streets of Spartanburg ending up at the SHS. The shelter life was hard for Stewie and he became very withdrawn. Once we saw him we knew he had to be out of there. In his foster home and after a good bath, Stewie started to come out of his shell. He is still a little shy with new people but warms up quickly if you go down to his level.
He is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is amazing on a leash, wonderful around children, cats, and other dogs. He is crate trained and well-behaved indoors. Stewie is an all-around wonderful dog and will make an excellent companion. We are quite confident that since he is a young dog once he has the stability of a forever and loving home he will grow out of his shyness.
