My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lila, and I am a 11 month old sable colored German shepherd. I was given up by my previous owners because they had no time for me. I arrived at my new home  and didn't understand how to play with other dogs as I was not socialized...I was even frightened of my foster mom's chihuahua. After being in my foster home, I've made so many new friends and I'm having such a good time, I have made a ton of progress, and am ready to find a forever home. I would love a home with another large dog to play with that has as much energy as I do. A  fenced in yard would be great as I love to run. I can't be placed with small dogs our cats due to my prey drive. 

 

I know basic commands now, and walk well on a leash. Applicants that are interested in me must have prior experience with my breed, or with large dogs.

 

My adoption fee is $425 which cover all of my routine vetting and spay.  If you are interested in adopting me,  please call (301) 325-2020 or apply via this site and your application will be forwarded to my foster mom.
