Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby is about the nicest pup ever. Super sweet and friendly. Loves kids and gets along great with other pups, big and small. Loves people and is super friendly. Loves to give kisses. He's super smart and learns quickly. He knows how to sit, and we're working on teaching him not to jump-up on people. He LOVES attention and can be a little persistent sometimes, but we're working with him on it. He just gets so excited when he sees people that he can't help himself! Loves to be around people and be part of the action.
Toby was picked-up by the shelter as a stray, and judging by the scrapes down his left side, we think he had a run-in with a car and skidded down the pavement a bit. Fortunately, nothing was broken, and everything is healing well. Once his hair is a bit longer, you'll barely notice. . .he sure doesn't!
Toby is a high energy boy and would do best with an active person or family. He's a great hiking partner, easily handling two miles. Pretty good on a leash but sometimes pulls a bit. Getting better every day! Likes riding in the car and enjoying the view; you can take him anywhere. He loves to snuggle, and is great sleeping at the foot of your bed. He's also great in a crate at night, and seems to like the downtime. He's being fostered with other pups, so we're not sure how he'd be as an only pup, but we're certainly willing to give it a try. We wouldn't want him to be home too long by himself though. . .we think he'd get lonely, And a yard would be great.
Toby loves to play with toys. . .balls, chew toys, stuffies. . .he loves them all! He's about two years old and weighs just under 20 pounds. Lovely pup.
Neutered, up-to-date on his shots, and microchipped. Super sweet guy and would be a great addition to any home.
