IDGSR WELCOMES CHINOOK INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Chinook is a very pretty Husky who is approx. 6-7 mos. old. A good samaritan found her and her sister Daisy wandering on their own, took them in and tried to find their owner with no success. IDGSR brought both of them into the rescue.
Chinook is as cute as she can be with those beautiful expressive eyes but she is still a puppy with a lot of energy. Puppies are a lot of work and require time and attention from their new family. Chinook is a blank slate who has had no training. She is very friendly but has no leash manners and likes to greet people by jumping up. She will need the full range of obedience training to help with these behaviors and help her to become a good canine citizen. Chinook MUST have an active high energy other dog in the home to keep her busy. She needs an outlet for her energy and won't be happy as a couch potato. With time, guidance and education with her new owner Chinook will be a wonderful family member.

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
