Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Jax is a 1 year old male Labrador who weighs around 75lbs. He came to us after living in two different homes, neither of which really put much effort into him.
He has a typical amount of energy for a young Labrador and thoroughly enjoys running around with other dogs in the fenced yard at his foster home. Jax knows how to sit and high five and he's working on walking nicely on a leash and coming when called. The good news is that he is eager to please and is food motivated, so further training will be easy.
Previously his owners left him loose in the house, but he easily goes right into his crate. He may do best being left loose on a dog bed if that's a possibility. He has not had any accidents in his foster home at all and definitely appears to be house trained.
We are not sure how he is with cats, but he has been interested in the cat he saw at the vet clinic. He has not been exposed to young children in the foster home, but he has a really lovely temperament and would likely do well with any family.
Jax needs Labrador experienced adopters with another young and playful dog for him to play with. His adopters should be willing to enroll in further training classes and work with him on his manners.
