Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smalls is the sweetest, calmest, and laziest Pittie mixes that we have ever met.
He is a middle aged guy, who really knows what is expected of him. He knows how to live nicely in a home. He is crate and house trained, he doesn't get into anything he isn't supposed to, and he really just wants a cozy couch or bed to spend his days relaxing in.
Smalls came to us after his owner could no longer provide the level of care that he needed, and couldn't afford to treat his heartworm disease.
He does have some skin issues that we are working to clear up, but are mostly food allergy related and should clear up with a high quality, grain free diet.
Smalls is looking for his foster-to-adopt home, he is going to be going through heartworm treatment and is hoping to find a calm, low key home that he can recover in.
He does good with most dogs, and is respectful with children.
During the foster to adopt period, the rescue will provide/cover all of his medical expenses, crate, food, supplies, etc.
Smalls just really wants a safe. stable, loving home to recover in until he can be medically cleared for adoption.
