My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sanford! He's an Australian Shepherd, but we think there's some teddy bear in there, too. Just look at those sweet eyes and face! Plus, he LOVES to snuggle! Sanford is a sweet 11 year old, neutered male that was an owner surrender. He is crate and house trained, enjoys riding in the car with the windows down, and walks well on a leash. He's a laid back guy but has definitely become more playful with his foster sister since being on arthritis medication. Sanford enjoys having a ball or his favorite green squeaky bone tossed for him to catch. It's his favorite thing to do! Sanford would be good in a home as the only dog or in a home with other dogs as long as they aren't too dominant. He gets along well with his foster brother and sister but did show aggression towards a male dog that was brought into the house after he had settled in. Sanford has shown a little food aggression, but it has only exhibited itself when in close quarters with other dogs while treats were being handed out.
