Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE INFORMATION BELOW!
This is Ginger, a 7 year old 4.5 pound mini poodle. Ginger was recently rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri. She’s a sweet but shy girl who gets along with other dogs but doesn't like a lot of activity in the home. Ginger is currently fostering in Rochester, NY. Transport is available within the area we adopt to as shown below.
Ginger will need a secure fenced in yard and another small dog. A calm, adult home is preferred since she does bark at children and visitors. Housetraining is a work in progress. She is very loving and likes to give kisses.
We currently adopt in the states of NY, NJ, Eastern PA, DE, and some areas in MD. We can not accept applications from other states at this time.
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out our adoption application which you can find on our website at www.dutchcountryanimalrescue.org/adopt.html
Our adoption fees are on our application.
All of our rescues are spayed/neutered, up to date on rabies and DHPP, heartworm tested, treated for worms and fleas and most are microchipped.
We are not a shelter, we are 100% volunteer public charity. All of our dogs are in foster homes until they are adopted. Since we are not a shelter, we do not receive government funding. We are a public charity that relies solely on funds through our adoption fee, fundraisers, and private donations. Since we are 100% volunteer based, all funds collected go directly towards the rescue and vet costs of our dogs.
We take each rescue personally and spend a lot of effort trying to match the right dog to the right family. Thank you for considering one of our rescued dogs.
