My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Demi Meower, a stray kitten, was found by one of our volunteers. Given her obvious neurological symptoms, it would’ve been very difficult for Demi Meower to survive in the unforgiving Brooklyn streets. Friendly as can be, and full of excitement, Demi Meower kept falling over as she eagerly welcomed the affectionate and gentle touch of our volunteer. Demi was thoroughly examined by our vet, including a full workup with X-rays, and after ruling out other probable conditions, her symptoms were determined to be caused by a congenital disorder known as Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Cats with this condition require some special accommodations but they can live long and happy lives.

Demi Meower, vaccinated, spayed in in good health, is looking for that special guardian to give all her love to in exchange for proper care and attention. If you think this could be you, contact us at adopt@emptycagescollective.org.
