We have an 8.5 month Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) that we are very reluctant to give up. She’s in need of a family that can address her needs, as we have been unable to do so. She is showing signs of fear-based aggression and resource guarding, usually skittish around big dogs and even some people/kids. She has a history of biting x1 incident that was a redirected anxiety bite. She's had positive reinforcement training and tried Educator collar training but has not responded well. She’s very smart, learning even new commands very quickly but continues to have behavior issues. She's a happy dog most of the time, has a ton of energy, and knows many basic commands (out, off, sit, stay, lay down, shake, here, speak). She loves to play fetch and run. She’s potty trained and kennel trained (while at work/away and at night). She’s very playful and loving. It breaks our heart to have to give her up. It’s important to us that she goes to a good home with an experienced and educated owner.
