Here's what the humans have to say about me:
L Bonnie is a mature lady that ended up in rescue. She is 8 years old and has unfortunately lost her family. She does great on a leash, loves to go for rides, loves everyone she meets and is a perfectly house mannered girl. Bonnie has been going to work with me since rescue and we all forget she is there - she just snoozes and hangs out. She has done okay with the dogs in rescue she has met but is definitely a dominant dog which many don't care for. She doesn't always care for smaller dogs so no small dogs please. Because she is a little older I would suggest no small children - she is past babysitting age. She has met a horse, steer and goats with no interest. I do not know about cats. Bonnie really needs a home of her own to finish out her retirement years. Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms.
More about L. Bonnie: Good with Some Dogs (No small dogs), Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Adults, Quiet, Does Good in the Car, Leash trained, Obedient, Affectionate, Eager To Please, Even-tempered, Gentle, Not good with small dogs
Please note that we are a TX based rescue, so all of our dogs are located in TX. We work with Rescue Road Trips to transport our dogs to your area upon approval of adoption application. The reason we do this is because TX is a high-kill state due to it being over populated with unwanted, but wonderful dogs, and finding homes in other states helps us to save more lives. Our adoption fee for the NE is $355 ($170 adoption and $185 transportation). All dogs will arrive spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and with their health certificate required for transportation.
Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms - and please note that there is a $25 application fee, which will be credited toward adoption fees.
