Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The first step of the adoption process is completing an application. Please visit http://southernstylegreatdanerescue.org/application/ for an online application. We will not answer any questions about the Dane until an application is completed and returned. Once an application is returned, someone will contact you.
Tripp is a one year old Blue Harlequin Male Great Dane. Tripp is looking for a home with an experienced Great Dane parent. Someone who can provide Tripp a routine, schedule and give him the exercise he needs to maintain a balanced life.
Tripp can NOT be in a home with children AND will need to be crated if/when children visit the home. Tripp was returned from his last adoptive home for nipping a child. It was a "nip/pinch" as the child did not require medical attention and Tripp retreated once he nipped the child on the butt when running. SSGDR takes bites VERY seriously, regardless of the magnitude, so Tripp is under the care of an experienced foster home/trainer and will go into an experienced home with NO KIDS.
Tripp is being exposed to many different scenario and has been very successful in his foster home. Tripp loves to play and does well with med/large female dogs. He is crate trained and is very loyal and loving.
We will provide all evaluations we've had done with trainers/behaviorist for Tripp. Each certified trainer agreed that Tripp will be successful in the right home. If you feel you have what it takes to be Tripp's new family, please visit our website for an application.
