Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Charlotte is a petite 1 year old, 34 pound white American Stafford mix. She was a stray picked up along with , another dog , by an animal control officer in a local town.
In the beginning, Charlotte was very timid. She clearly wanted attention from people but was unsure of how we would respond so she would belly crawl to us with her tail wagging. When she realized we wanted to love her she would crawl in our laps & lick our faces. She also freely rolls over on her back hoping for a nice bell rub.
Leash training was a challenge because she kept reverting back to the belly crawl. After several weeks of daily leash training & meeting new people, she has gained a lot of confidence & has overcome most of her timidity.
When she is in an environment where she feels safe, she is a happy, friendly girl. She gets along very well with other dogs & enjoys running & playing with them.
She is currently in with a foster family with another dog and is doing very well. She in house trained & crate trained. A fenced in yard is required .
