Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Brook is a 5 year old, spayed female German shepherd dog. She weighs approximately 65 pounds.
This is a very nice dog that came to us when her owner died suddenly and unexpectedly. Brook has a good temperament and was obviously much loved by her previous owner.
Brook is house trained and crate trained. She rides well in the car in her crate and loves to be with her foster family. She likes other dogs and loves to play with them. We do not know how she is with cats or young children.
She would benefit from an obedience class with her new family. Brook enjoys both toys and food during training.
Note: Brook does not like having her nails trimmed, so a plan needs to be in place for this as nail maintenance is very important. Right now it is a 2 person job, one person holds Brook and lets her bury her head in their arms so she can't see and the other person does the trimming!
Brooks adoption fee is $275. This includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, collar and ID tag.
