Chance was a stray puppy I found just weeks after my childhood dog passed away. In hindsight, I believe getting another dog so soon after the death of a previous dog is a mistake. Sadly it's been 2 years and I still don't believe Chance is the dog for me. He's very well taken care of. I buy him high quality dog food, expensive dog beds and a million toys. I absolutely love this dog, however because I love him so much, I know that the best thing for him would be to give him up to someone that has time and hopefully a yard for him to burn off this crazy Lab energy. I work 50-60 hours a week and Chance deserves better than that.
His issues: Chance is reactive. I still said yes to, "is he good around other dogs," because if you take him to the dog park, he acts like a normal dog. Very playful, a little rough play but the other dog owners tell me it's not as bad as I feel it is. However I will say walking with him is a giant pain. I'm small (4'11.) I get pulled around very easily.
