Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Looking for a handsome, active boy? Will is your guy. He is looking for someone to love and shower him with attention and have fun and continue training with. He is a beautiful Self-Merle Aussie weighing 30 pounds and about 2.5 years old with a docked tail. Will gets along great with his foster mom's Aussies (one female and one male) and cat. Will is full of Aussie energy and a joy and would be a suitable companion for active adults who can continue his training and with children over 15 years old. He knows sit, down, come and bring and loves, loves to play ball and frisbee! He still gets excited seeing his peoples and jumps but has been taught a hand command for 'down' to wait for his loving. Foster mom calls him her jumping bean. He likes to talk to get what he wants whether its water or for you to throw a toy. He is crate trained and puts himself in the crate at night when he is ready for bed. He is house trained too and goes to the door and barks to let you know he needs out. He can be reactive when he hears loud cars or motorcycles go by and will run to the window and bark so foster mom has been working with him on this and impulse control. Foster mom thinks he is part cat because he really likes to lay in the window sill and sun bathe and people watch. He does bark if someone walks by on the sidewalk though so foster mom has been working to redirect his attention. He would thrive in a home where he gets lots of exercise and play. He would do great at agility because he is very focused and jumps 5 to 6 feet to catch fly balls. He could be an only dog with proper amount of exercise but also would do well with a playmate. He is healthy, on heartworm and flea and tick preventatives, neutered and looking for his furever home! Will is being fostered in Fernandina Beach, Fla.
