My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Do you love the calm and quiet types? Baloup wants to be your beau!

Baloup recently developed and recovered from bloat which meant that half of his stomach had to be removed. Subsequently, Baloup is on special food which costs around $100 per month and is likely to be on it for life. Please consider this extra expense carefully before applying for adoption.

For a large fluffy pooch, this gentle boy has an amazing temperament! He is amazing with all walks of life, and is only looking for a home that will love him for the rest of his days.

Bloop could fit into any home and will be an amazing addition to any family. We would love to see him somewhere that he will get the care he needs as an aging pup (don't tell him this, he still has lots of puppy-love and play!), but also somewhere he wouldn't be the only dog and could get lots of social time. Baloup absolutely adores other dogs, & greets them all with a happy-hello-howl!

Breed: Fluffy Bear (Large Husky)
Colour: White with grey markings
Age: 11 years young
Size: Large, but gentle & cuddly!
Sex: Male, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped
House trained: Yes
Crate trained: Yes — & non-destructive if left out, just don't leave food on the counter!
Loose-leash trained: Yes, I am a great companion with my training tool — I also would love a fenced yard or dog park to play!
Commands: I may not know my basic commands, but I am perfectly well-mannered & a real gentleman!
Dogs: Yes — I currently live with furry foster brothers, and would really love a home where I am not the only dog.
Cats: No - I tend to stalk them.
Children: I take a bit more time to warm up, and I do have an independent side. Mature children are likely best for me!

Don’t already have a dog, or looking for two? ** Baloup and Mohawk have known each other their whole lives. They simply adore each other! They are available as a bonded pair at a reduced adoption fee to the perfect home! Check out Mohawk's bio here. **
