My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovable Freddy came to the shelter at the very end of May and has already seen the vet! He just finished his post-surgery convalescence on June 6, which delights both the volunteers and Freddy, because he is a super-affectionate and happy cat, who was so desperate to be out of confinement so that he could get lots of hugs, kisses and love, and spend time playing with the other cats. He's just the cutest tiger, with a very golden-brown coat, so happy, so content, so well-adjusted, and so social with all the humans and cats he meets. He quickly bonded with our other happy cats Monte and Jasper, and the three are already best cat pals. Freddy has a tremendous capacity for love and would do well with people of all ages, and all sorts of cats, as he's submissive and not dominant. We haven't yet tested his response to dogs, but hope to do so soon. If you're interested and have a dog, please contact us so we can see how he reacts to a shelter dog.

Freddy is estimated to be 2, is box-trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Adoption fee for adult cats is $50 (cash or check only, please).
