My story

Say "hello" to Zeus! Zeus has chronic (long term/ongoing) kidney disease. We are looking to find a foster/adopter/hospice as soon as possible. He is young, only 1.5 and could potentially have months to a year left. We would love for him to live in a home environment and experience family while he is still active. He is goofy, playful, silly and full of life at the moment. You'd never know he was sick. Here at CRCS he is enjoying playgroups with other dogs every day, jogs with one of our team members, gets out for 3 separate walks/outings daily and is enjoying an off-site car ride and hike once a week. We'd love for that to continue, but in a home environment. He LOVES the water, loves to run, loves to play and will keep you laughing with his silly ways! His diet is critical- CRCS will provide his special food and pay for all medical care. Additional support will be provided to his foster in the way of Day Camp, sleepovers, behavior help and training support if needed, hospice when needed. Zeus has been good with dogs and quite playful, however for certain reasons, we are looking for a family with no other animals and an environment where he can have human company during the day.
