HI There! I’m Negan and just had my first ever birthday party!
I love to play and play and play. I’m not at all hyper but I do like to play – I REALLY need a dog friend who likes to play too. My foster mom says a bit older dog who could show me some manners would be a good thing. Personally, I think I’m just about the most perfect thing there is. I am learning some of those words that foster mom says – Wait and Stay (not my favorites) but I do like Come and Let’s Eat and I go nicely into my crate (I get to eat there). I am pretending I don’t know what OFF or LEAVE IT means - Foster mom works with me a LOT with those two - sigh… I’d much rather go play. Oh and I’m housetrained, too, but could use a few lessons on leash walking. I mean, who has time to walk when you could be playing?!
Guess what? There are lots of other creatures here in my foster home. There are puppies (I like them), other dogs (I REALLY like them) and the cat – cat said ‘leave me alone’ and I listened. And there is an old dog who lives here and he gives me direction. I like him, too. I get along with everybody – especially when they play with me.
I like to run and jump – foster mom has this little door into another part of the house (I’m not supposed to go there) so when she says OUT I fly thru the air- way high and sometimes there is another dog in the way and I fly over him too. WHAT FUN!!
I am beautiful – did you see my PHOTOS?? And I am very affectionate and like to be with people. Do you know what “Velcro” means? I wish you would tell me because foster mom says I’m just like Velcro. I hope that’s a good thing!
My perfect family would be very consistent in teaching me manners, and other important household behaviors. It would be great if we could go on long walks or hikes. Foster mom thinks I might be good at agility. I’m still a growing boy and missed some manners as a young puppy – so I need help with those (Foster mom seems to think manners are important). Because I play so hard it would be best if any children are at least 10 or 12 years old. I like all people.
I just turned 1 and am a big boy around 60 pounds,. I have all my vet work done and am neutered and microchipped.
