Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rooney is a very sweet dog who loves everyone. He is housebroken, affectionate and loves to snuggle on your lap.
I adopted him from a rescue group in Ohio who found him abandoned in the snow after having been thrown out of a moving car. As a result of his past treatment, he has terrible separation anxiety. It is not really a medical problem but it is a special need. When left alone for long periods of time, he becomes very anxious and will try to get out of the house/yard and come looking for me. Otherwise, he is a great dog with whom everyone falls in love!
When I first got him, I worked at home and traveled about one a month for a few days. Now, I am the grandmother of 2 very young children and spend a lot of time being with them. Since they live about 80 miles from me, I am now gone a lot. So, I can no longer give him the home he needs. Although I will miss him terribly, I believe he deserves the best home for him. He will do best in a household where people are around most of the time.
