Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ela and Ani, they are Aussie mixes, 8 years young and bonded sisters/littermates, whose owner sadly had to give them up because of terminal illness. These ladies are shy at first, but once they open up to you are playful, goofy, well mannered, sweet+cuddly. They are quite active for their age and will run, play and chase each other through the yard, plus they both LOVE running in the sand and surf at the beach! (They grew up on acreage and would probably like to go hiking too!) Ela is the ringleader, shes a bit more headstrong, Ani typically follows her lead and they do many things in nearly perfect unison.
Both have shown an interest in chasing balls and frisbees, but don't always bring them back and they are both terrible at actually catching anything. :-) (But they try very hard to catch them!) Ela likes to play with, then bring you stuffed toys as gifts and will sometimes walk around the house carrying one. At bedtime they happily curl up on their large dog bed They are good on leash and have gotten along well with our dog and been good around people, kids and dogs in social settings. They have barked/lunged at a couple cats and small dogs during walks, so a cat free (and no small dogs) household may be best. During the day, they need to go out to potty every 3-4 hours and they are good staying inside overnight.
They also got a full vet exam and booster shots as needed within the last month. They'll likely do best in a household where someone is home often, as they enjoy your company and do need to go out more frequently then some dogs. If you are open to adopting a couple sweet dogs, who would love to have a furever home, please contact us. They are currently being fostered in Edmonds, WA If you are interested in making us part of your family, please fill out the application:
