Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Toby is an awesome hound boy, about 2 years old. He is likely a purebred Treeing Walker Coonhound. He has the voice to match! Toby is not suited to apartment or condo living, due to his love of, shall we say, singing. He should probably not be loose outside, as hounds are sometimes inclined to follow their noses wherever they lead. He can jump fences and does not like being left alone outside for long. He does respect a fence topped with an electrified wire, however. He is crate-trained (but does not do well alone for long periods of time) and does very well in the house. At adoption events he has been very good with children, and lives in a foster home with other dogs. We are not sure how he would do with cats. All in all he is a gentle fellow who needs a home that understands the breed and its tendencies. He is not a 'hard' dog by any means, just needs the right home.
