My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Ty! I am a 1 year old, 21 lb. Miniature Husky/Shiba Inu blend. I am a smart boy who already knows sit, down, up and wait. My favorite trick is to stand on my hind legs and walk over to meet you for treats. I have good house manners and know when to ask to go outside. I am kind and loving but can be a bit protective of myself because I was not treated so well in my former home. I love my foster home and am making great strides in learning to trust humans again. I love to play with other dogs my size and have recently learned that squeaky toys are a ton of fun. Having a canine sibling would be fun but I would also be fine as an only child.

When I first went for a car ride, I thought I was going to die. Now I love to go where ever my foster Dad goes. I am currently enrolled in dog school and am getting a straight A!

I would love a quiet new home with a family that doesn’t have small children. Going for walks and hanging out with my human family are my favorite things in live. My new humans should be willing to give me time to adjust and I will give you unconditional love in return.

Note from Ty’s trainer: He is a wonderful young dog who just needs time to gain trust again. Continuing dog school will give Ty the opportunity to bond to his new family.
