My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Otis. I am a 7 year old Australian Shepherd. I'm a little on the smaller side weighing in at 36 pounds. I've been with my foster mom about a week and she is already so in love with me! I am about 95% house trained and will go into the kennel when asked (although I don't like to be in there forever) I ride well in the truck and hop right on up as soon as the door is open. I am not highly energetic, I really just enjoy laying in bed or on the couch with my foster mom. She says I'm super lazy (for an Aussie anyway). I am on the protective side and have a slight fear of men, but we are working on that! I get along well with most dogs, even my foster mom's reactive Aussie. I feel like I would do best in a home with a single female, or an older couple who are willing to work on my fear issues and help me feel secure. A home with older children who are patient with me can be considered as well. I'm not a fan of cats. I walk well on a leash and I know sit, stay, shake and down. We are working on roll over! I'm up to date on shots, flea and heart worm medication and I am neutered. I hope you'll consider me and help me find my furever home!
