My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there, my name is Gizmo. I'm an older fellow with a gentle spirit. I'm a cocker spaniel and people think I am purebred. I may look a little funny now because I don't have my long fur. I had to get a haircut when I was rescued but the ladies tell me it will grow back so I'm not worried. It's summer anyway and that fur is hot!

I'm in a temporary foster home right now. I would really love to find a long term foster or a forever home. I'm a sweet guy...my foster mom tells me that all the time and I believe her. I've done really well with new people and other dogs. I haven't been around any cats or tiny humans yet, but the medium size humans are pretty fun.

I don't hear very well but I'm a well behaved boy. I like when my foster mom works in the yard. I follow her around and supervise. I also do a little dance whenever someone scratches my backside. It just feels so good!

Well, enough about me. I'd like to hear from you. Can you picture me curled up at your feet or next to you on the couch?
