My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! Winifred is the name and being fabulous is my game! I'm an 6 year old spayed female Dachshund miniature pinscher mix , I weigh around 12 pounds. I'm current on my vaccines and microchipped, so I'm all ready to move in to my new home!

I would describe myself as happy, fun, loving and outgoing . I might be on the mature side but don't let that fool you. I have a lot of spunk left in me! These are my golden years and I want to live it up! I just love going on long walks/hikes and running around and sun bathing. Pets and belly rubs are also great!

For no fault of my own, my previous owner decided they were no longer able to care for me, and they dumped me at the pound. Can you believe someone would do that? I thought family was supposed to be forever! It's their loss though, because I'm truly an amazing dog with lots of love to give.

I know I'm lucky that I got out of the pound alive, because not every dog does. But my journey doesn't end here at CageFree. I'm in need of a family that will take me in and provide me with the safe and loving forever home that I've always deserved!
