My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet bonded pair  DAKOTA and MORGAN ! This needy duo came to us as their pet parent was very ill and could no longer care for them. It was a difficult decision but one that did right by them.  Dakota is approximately 5 1/2 years old, and Morgan is approximately 8 years old. They are a bonded pair and will be adopted together.  As a part of their full vetting, their dentals were immediately done since their teeth were so bad. They both are completely toothless, but feeling much better for it.

Dakota is an easy-going, well-behaved, cuddlebug. He loves to go on walks as much as he enjoys chasing lizards and napping on the couch. And he LOVES cuddles and attention of any kind. But most importantly is that all of that can be done with his other half Morgan.

​Morgan is your true couch potato. Her favorite is snoozing on the couch with her little brother Dakota. But the icing on the cake for Morgan is belly rubs on the couch. Morgan would much prefer skipping the walks, but she needs to continue her weight loss program and exercise is key. Her forever family must be committed to walking her to keep her weight in check and to give her currently stiff joints loose and mobile. They will also have to be strong - not giving in to her adorable big eyes that ask for one more treat. Morgan loves squeaky toys and she will chase those, that is a good motivation to get her moving. Morgan's vetting included a Cherry Eye removal. To prevent reoccurrence, she will require lubricating get daily.

Both Dakota and Morgan are heart and patellas clear. They are house trained and a easy pair of pups. A very special duo!

Dakota & Morgan are being fostered in Destin. Their adoption fee is $700.
