Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We found River at 5 1/2 weeks old with her litter. She needed medical attention, so we took her in and re-homed the others in the litter at 8 weeks. Once her medical situation was complete, we got her up to date on shots and just held onto her. She is now spayed, UTD on vaccinations and microchipped (information will be transferred over with her).
After about a year, I am looking into re-homing her due to energy level and necessity. We are not only in the process of moving to a 2 dog facility, but I am looking at having surgery in the fall (recovery period Is approx 6 months) and she will not be able to go out as much. She's a high energy dog who needs to be ran, played fetch or have another dog to play with. She will play fetch for hours if she can find someone who will play with her.
It's unknown if she is good with kids, she does jump and that would need to be worked on.
She's never had any contact with cats so that unknown as well, though I would be very careful with meet and greets, she is very high energy and may scare cats.
She is good with other dogs once she gets to know them, though may annoy some older dogs due to energy level. Meet and Greet will be necessary and can be arranged.
She is kennel trained and potty trained, she loves to be outside but is a slight escape artist. (Does not jump walls, but dug under our fence with another stray who we were fostering).
She is a huge cuddle monster and craves attention. Though she will chew on bones and toys if you need time, or can take a "nap" in her kennel when you need space.
We've done the best we could with her due to time restraints and her slight shepherd stubbornness. She would do great with someone who has some time to work with her and regular walks/runs/playtime.
She will come with her kennel, her harness, her leash and her collar. I'll also transfer all pertaining paperwork and information for the vet we have used for any information in the future.
