Hello everyone! My name is Pecan. I'm a 7 year old female Jack Russell mix. I weigh a whopping 13 pounds. I'm a confident, cuddly little sweetheart who wants nothing more than to curl up in your arms! Don't let my age fool you, I still got a lot of spunk left in me! I'd make the perfect pup for any family. Since I'm on the mature side, I don't need a ton of exercise. Just a couple of walks per day and plenty of pets, and I'll be happy. Are you the family I've been searching for?

So I bet you're wondering how I ended up here. Well, I was A owner surrender to the South Los Angeles pound with 3 other dogs they separated us once we got there and I never found out what happened to them . I didn't know what my future held for me but it wasn't looking good. Nobody came to look at me and no one adopted me.

I waited patiently in my cage at the pound for over a month, until finally, CageFree heard about me and decided to give me a second chance at life. So now I'm getting to know my new canine and human friends, and I'm acclimating to my environment nicely. But my journey doesn't end here. I'm in search of my happily ever after with my forever family !
