FIND YOUR NEW FURRY FAMILY MEMBER!! DON'T LET THE MYTH OF TERRIERS WILL STOP YOU FROM ADOPTING THIS WONDERFUL SOUL:) You can take Gorda for a sleep over to see if she is good fit for your lifestyle - she is wonderful with people and kids:)
Sweet Orca Gorda. is a very friendly pet - We have her since she was about 6 months old; and has always shown affection, loving, not a barker; very obedient.
The sweetest 4 leg big girl you can find !!! she loves to play fetch and hang out with you:)
I know lots of people are scared to adopt such strong dog but we have raised her to be the best she can be as an adorable companion; laid back 4 leg girl!! eager to please you and to be your best buddy:)
She thinks she is a lap dog and will sit on your foot:) Confident and keenly aware of her surroundings, she is a great family and watchdog in that they may alert you to the presence of strangers, but that's primarily because she is eager to greet her guests.
Orca Gorda is about 1 year and 11 months old and she is full grown and weights about 85 lbs.
She is currently living on day to day basis at her foster homel although there are oher foster dogs-
she is on her own space away from the other dogs; however, they sniff each other through the fence. The foster home also has cats and kittens. The scene with cats is in different areas of the house - we don't mix the dogs with the cats - but they are aware that they all are under the same roof.
We recommend Orca Gorda to be the only pet in the house:) she will give you so much company and love.
Like every dog; she will need continuous socialization — exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences —
- she will need exercise; a good bone to chew on and lots of love:)
LOYAL, PEOPLE-LOVING, GREAT WITH CHILDREN!
Such a loving and obedient dog. She is very quiet in the house. Orca likes to walk on a leash and behaves well in a car. Gorda is excellent with people and children. She has a short, easy groom coat. Orca is muscular but has a non-aggressive temperament, good-natured, attentive and devoted. She will need moderate, daily exercise. Gorda will make a wonderful, loving and very loyal companion.
Help to remove the scars from her heart! She is hoping you will. In the canine heart there is always hope. Every dog deserves a safe and loving home. Adopt a rescue dog today!
Contact her rescuer at 619-576-0747 via phone or texting for faster response or you can email her at veronica@aaofus.org
Her adoption fee is $275
