Special Needs!



Maggie is a very special old gal.  She loves to swim, go for long
walks in the woods, and play tug and fetch.  She loves time with
her people friends to snuggle and be loved upon, and will get under the
covers with you if you let her!  Maggie is not fully trained, and needs
a forever home that has experience training older or more difficult
dogs.  Her front leg had to be surgically removed after she was hit by
a car in Baltimore City, and she does have some issues with arthritis
as a result.  Maggie will need ongoing medical care to make her more
comfortable in the future as the arthritis progresses.  She is also a
little overweight, so some excersize would do her good.  She is not
good with small children or cats, and is selective about other dogs. 
Maggie is definately an emotional investment that needs consistent care
to get her back in line, but one that is worth the time and effort.  If
you like a challenge, this one is for you!  We are asking a $50.00
adoption fee  and will be conducting an interview/home visit to make
sure she is getting a forever home.
