Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Red. I am probably 6 or 7 years old. I am neutered , microchipped , up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative.
My story starts with meeting a lady deep in the national forest. She noticed I was hungry and very lost. The local rescue came and gave me a place to stay. They noticed my unusual conformation and took me to a vet for my first exam and x-rays. The vet told my foster mom , I look different because I was left in a crate too small for my growing body . My bone plates kept trying to grow but I was in too small of a crate , creating my odd looking legs. Other than my conformation , I am very healthy . I love wrestling with other dogs my size. I would not do well with small dogs or cats. I seem to feel better when I get out in a large space and can run around stretching out my muscles.
I love people and never met a stranger. I am looking for someone to give me a place to live out the rest of my life . I am so ready for my own family and a retirement home.
my adoption fee is $100 which includes transportation from Tennesse
