Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Sunni
Age: 1-2 yrs
Breed: Shepard X
Gender: Female
Good with Dogs: Great, but needs introduction time.
Good with Cats: No
Good with Kids: Very good with kids.
Activity Level: Low-Medium
Crate trained: Yes
Foster location: Red Deer
Description: Sunni is a sweetheart who loves to please. She loves training time, is very responsive to treats, has mastered 'sit', 'lay down', 'outside' & 'crate' and she has fantastic recall. I think she would prefer a home where she can spend her time moving from sunny spot to sunny spot in between her daily walks and meals. Sunni is learning to walk nicely on leash but still gets excited and pulls. This pup has been through a lot. Her back leg was shattered when she was found, and x-rays discovered buckshot in addition to the fracture. She is healing really well, and has been given the all clear for long walks, normal play time, hikes etc. Sunni may never be a great running partner, and she might always limp after a very strenuous day, but she's otherwise in terrific shape and bright spirits considering her injuries. She's fantastic with all people, and with kids (though she's young and a little clumsy). She has shown signs of prey drive for smaller animals (chasing cats, rabbits), so I think she would do best in a home with no cats or small pets. She gets along great with our dog, after we gave her some time to get aquainted and warm up.
