Hi, my name is Barney 5. When I was about 5 months old, I was saved by a nice lady who agreed to take me in before I was taken to a shelter near Shelbyville, TX. I am so glad she did because I have heard that shelters can be a scary place for babies like me. I am currently being fostered in East Texas about 30 minutes north of Nacogdoches.
I am a young male Plott Hound Mix who should not get much bigger than 35 pounds.. I currently weigh about 30 pounds. I am current on my vaccinations, neutered and heart worm negative. I am Brindle in color with white on my chest. I am a little nervous around new people and new surroundings at first and how I got my name.
This is a great place to hang out for now but I would really like a forever home of my own. I really like to be petted and have someone who has more time to play with me. I am still very young and have a lot to learn. Do you think that you could be that special person looking for a handsome little fellow?
