Hello, I’m Charlotte.
I’m so sweet, if I were food, I’d be as delicious as a chocolate kahlua truffle.
I am 100% pure lap dog. Of course, the AKC would only recognize me as poodle, and that’s okay since I know who I am and have no interest in correcting anyone. All I care about is loving those who love me.
I like people, even strangers, as well as dogs, children and pretty much everyone I’ve met. I’ve yet to meet a cat but some of the dogs and people I know like them so I might too.
Occasionally I like to talk—a little barking, a little whine—but only when there’s a reason. Like sometimes I’m anxious when my person is gone so hopefully you’ll take me everywhere. The AKC and I agree about this: toy poodles have been bred to be companions so naturally I’m anxious when my person is gone.
But, don’t worry, I’m not needy. If you want your lap to yourself for awhile, I’ll happily sit nearby.
My daddy passed away recently, so I’m looking for a new person or family to spend my life with.
