Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Waylon arrived at the shelter in early April. At first we thought he didn’t like people, so we gave him an “outlaw” name. Boy, were we wrong! He was just very frightened of his new surroundings, but after just a little exposure to humans, he discovered he didn’t mind them at all — in fact, he found out he adores humans! He takes just a little while (we’re talking minutes) to get to know new people, and then he’s a big furry mush, loves to be held and kissed and to give his volunteers bear hugs. He gets along very well with the other cats, and shows a lot of kittenish behavior. He’s become a sidekick kitty to his volunteer companions, happily joining them when they are cleaning cat cages, doing laundry or washing dishes. He is just so happy now to be part of our shelter family, and we enjoy his company so much that wish he could remain so, but we know there is much better life for him in a loving home. He would make a wonderful companion to children of all ages and other cats as well, but we haven’t yet asked his opinion on dogs. If you have a dog and are interested in adopting Waylon, let us know and we’ll see what he thinks of one of our shelter gods.
Waylon is estimated to be less than 2 years old, is box-trained, neutered, current on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Adoption fee for adult cats is $50 (cash or check only, please).
