My story

**NO SMALL CHILDREN/NO CATS!**
Meet Callie aka Calypso! Callie spent quite a while in the shelter before we pulled her and she's been such a joy to work with. She has such a laid-back and gentle personality and she is very smart and treat-motivated. Callie does great with other dogs that are similar to her size, however we have noticed that Callie doesn't seem to like small dogs.
Callie loves people and attention of all kinds. Callie is a happy dog and has so much love to give. The only issue we have had with Callie is that she does NOT like her crate! Callie is not very destructive if she's left outside of her crate but we had have one incident where she caused some damage to the carpet while trying to escape a bedroom. We strongly recommend dog-proofing your home from poisons, trash, or anything she could get into if you choose not to crate her. If you choose to crate her, please know you will need to zip tie the corners and secure the door. Callie will NEED to be crated the first few weeks she is in your home in order to prevent destructive behavior!
Callie is house trained, can be contained in a crate, walks great on a leash, knows basic obedience, and is socialized. Callie does not like cats or small dogs.
