2/27/09: Meet Rocky and Rambo, they just came into rescue. These two big boys were surrendered to us because their mom who loved them more than words can express was forced to give them up. She is going through a tough time now, taking care of her elderly and very ill mom alone. Her mom requires her full attention and she has no time to put into caring for Rocky and Rambo or giving them the attention and training they need. This was a tough decision but the right decision; these dogs need leadership, routine, calm happy environment, a good walk on lead at least once a day and a structured household: a specific time to eat, sleep play etc.



NJBR does not know much about them yet except that they are typical young energetic boxers who need all mentioned above. This weekend these two boys will be sent to a doggie day care for full time boarding. We will learn more; see how they do with other dogs, with new people, with and without EACH OTHER. We are not sure if they should be placed together or apart but we will let you know soon. Email me if you have any interest but stay tuned for more information on these two handsome boys.



Training will be required as a condition for adoption. This is for the benefit of Rocky and Rambo and to teach his humans how to incorporate boxers into their family successfully and FOR LIFE (or at least their life).
