My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tina is a little on the shy side but she warms up rapidly. She will never be the life of the party pooch and she would be most comfortable in a low key home.

Tina is sweet, playful and still acts puppyish. She loves other dogs, is fine with cats, and is good with people of all sizes. She does not particularly enjoy being jumped on by energetic dogs, so chill dogs are ideal for her. She loves to be near her people .

Tina loves toys and play times. She is a quick, active dog with great intelligence. Don’t think you can hide where you put her toy. She knows where you hid it and will wait patiently to dig it out once your back is turned. My toy !

Tina's ideal home has another dog for her to play with to keep her company when her humans are away, a fenced in yard to run around in, an active family who’ll take her on walks, and for her people to be home more often than away. She just loves them so much.

That said, Tina does what most puppies do. They cause mischief and deny all knowledge of said mischief. If this will make you nuts, then move on, because that is what puppies do and she is no different. They learn very quickly and are eager to please. This is a dog that loves outdoor activities like hiking, romping, fetching and she wants to be with her people.

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)

We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.

NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
