Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hortence is a sweet, sweet girl, but she is painfully shy, and needs a home who understands her need to bond slowly. Loud noises make her nervous, therefore young or exuberant children, dogs, or cats would not be a good fit for her; a quiet companion of any species however, would be cautiously welcomed. Ms. Hortence loves to be cozy, and loves to be pet, and if offered a soft blanket to curl up in, she will quietly cuddle up next to you, and start needing and purring away if given some attention and petting. With a little bit of time and love she will blossom. Although she will never be the type of cat that will great a stranger at the door, she will bond with her special people and welcome them with purrs and cuddles.
Hortence is approximately 8 years old. She has had general bloodwork, and is in excellent health. Although she is initially very nervous, once she trusts you, you have a friend for life. She is a large cat, but is always gentle, even when scared.
Do you have the quiet home that would be perfect for Hortence? If so, email CAHadoptions@gmail.com for more information and to arrange to meet her.
