Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Pippin, but they call me Pippin the Wonder Dog because I have been traveling around to different places showing off my talents. People who meet me say they would have never expected me to be able to do so many tricks. Besides knowing the basic commands (sit, stay, heal, down and come), I am learning to shake, wave, crawl, rollover, bunny hop and give high fives and that is just to name a few. My trainer is working on teaching me many more tricks before I leave training.
Right now, I am a little over a year old. I’m not sure of my lineage, but I am a lanky 60 pounds. I am extremely well behaved. I am the first dog to be invited to come back for advanced training. I am currently being fostered by my same foster mom who had me about a year ago. My foster mom says that I am extremely well disciplined but I do like to play a little rough. I tend to still think I am still a puppy when I play so I probably wouldn't be a good fit for someone who has young children but older children will love me. I will make an excellent companion for an active family. I love to be around people and I am a complete sweetheart!
I reentered the NLOL program on May 1, 2019, and will be graduating on July 10th. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered, and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training. I however will have advanced training when I graduate.
If you think Pippin could be part of your family please visit my page at www.pamlicopaws.net and fill out an adoption application. If you would like any additional information about Pippin, please call Jackie Schmidt at 252-649-5504.
