WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet.

Sarang 12.6 lbs 2 years old female jindo mix.

Poor sad Sarang, we were asked could we please take this little lady or she was going to be euthanized in a horrible kill shelter in Korea. We were shown a picture of her in the shelter; it was so stinking sad and heartbreaking to see her like that. We of course said yes.

Sarang was placed in a loving foster home in Korea. It was apparent that she was a little uncertain of people or trusting of them, and needed some love. Sarang was brought back to the US where she now can be truly treasured.

We got Sarang to our vets where she was spayed by laser by our amazing vets. She is up to date on her shots, she is heart worm negative, dewormed twice, roughly 2 years old, and is putting on weight in our rescue. Sarang originally weighed 12.6 lbs but the amazing foster home she is currently in is trying to put more weight on her. Sarang is slow to warm up to you, but once she does she is so super sweet and gentle - her fluffy tail goes round and round with joy and happiness. Sarang will need a forever home where the people understand she has been through a lot and that she needs some love. She gets along with respectful dogs, cats, goats and respectful teenagers. She can be a bit dominant with other dogs but responds well to redirection. She behaves excellently in public on a leash, can jump over a pet gate so tall fencing is a must if off leash.

When you tell Sarang to sit for a treat she gets so very, very excited her whole bottom moves with pure excitement! She's getting a treat!! She really is a lovely little lady. She is well behaved with grooming, loves to give kisses and play with lots of toys.

As with all of our rescues, Sarang will need work on potty training and training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on.

Sarang can be a bit toy possessive when other dogs are around so if she goes to a home with other dogs will need continued work with this. She seems much more interested in her foster mom and toys but does enjoy an occasional play with the other dogs. She loves to run zoomies around the yard. She is insanely fast at this and agile. We believe she would be ok in a home with or without other dogs as long as she gets lots of love and attention.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Sarang & going through the process and have read her listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Sarang that meet all the requirements for this little lady.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately

Sarang has an adoption fee of $750 & is ready for her forever home.

**IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ**
An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.
As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves.
Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding.
