My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This loving boy is most deserving of a forever home of his own. When Scooter was first rescued by our sister organization in Mexico, he had to drag himself because his back legs did not function. After extensive physical therapy he is able to use his back legs and gets around fine although his hips and back legs will always be weak. (See attached video.) He is a Labrador mix, about five years old and weighing 55 pounds. Scooter is just an absolute sweetheart who enjoys all his humans and especially any attention he can get! He is a very happy dog and loves playtime with other dogs and his toys. He has a medium/high energy level. Scooter is not good with cats, however. He has been neutered, dewormed and vaccinated and is now available for adoption. We are looking for a special home that will love him forever and give him the best of care.
