Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Sammy from Alabammy!! Sammy and his brother Sawyer were saved from a high kill shelter in Alabama, and transported up to New York. Sammy is a beautiful red sable and white boy, about 10 pounds (needs to gain a few) and is estimated to be between 9 months old and a year and a half. He hasn't had any accidents in the house, and does go potty outside. He's very shy and timid at first, but soon opens up, but remains very submissive. He's very loving and playful. He gets along well with other dogs, as he lives with 6 other Ratties in his fosterhome! He met some children when his brother was dropped off at his fosterhome, and he did well with them, also, but we're not sure about cats.... He is learning house manners and responds well to commands such as "down", "drop it" and "no". Sammy's fostermom believes Sammy and his brother were kept outside for most of their lives. Sammy sleeps in bed with his fostermom and other fosterbrothers and sisters at night, and is cratetrained during the day. So far, Sammy seens to be an awesome boy and will make a great companion and will probably do better with a fenced-in yard and a brother or sister!! Please check for updates on Sammy as his fostermom becomes more familiar with him!
