Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Godiva. We gave her that name after getting a closer look at this lovely girl. At first, she appeared to be black, but when we got her out in the light, she is actually a rich, dark, chocolate color! Also, we originally thought she was a Boxer mix, but then again, when we got her out and saw her wiggle that butt, we were convinced she’s a purebred boxer sans the docked tail. Her crisp, white markings are stark against her slick, dark coat. And as for her disposition, this baby has the most loving nature of just about any dog I’ve ever met. She just melts into your arms to love and be loved.
We believe Godiva to be a young dog, maybe a year or so old. This gorgeous gal is going to be the love of someone’s life. I just hope that person finds their special treasure SOON!
The animals at the shelter have five days to find a home. The Humane Society of Cherokee County, Inc., is the rescue and adoption agent for this shelter. We are trying to save as many animals as possible from this shelter by adoption. The $75 adoption fee includes all rabies, DHPP and bordatella vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, and heartworm test.
For a quick response and/or adoption appointment, email us at cherokeeshelter@gmail.com. The Cherokee County shelter is located in Gaffney, SC just a few minutes off I-85 and only about 20 miles northeast of Spartanburg, SC and about 50 miles southwest of Charlotte, NC.
We are very rescue-friendly and will work with reputable rescuers to get these animals to safety. Thank you for helping us to save the life of a homeless, unwanted, and soon to be killed, shelter animal!
