Meet Slater! ​Slater was one of the NY 7. Seven Dogs tied out in the woods, being fed on a rare occasion. When rescued, they were terrified, emaciated and sick. This was 2 years ago. Since coming into our care, 6 of the 7 have now found amazing homes, but 1 still waits!

Slater might need to be the animal in your home but he absolutely adores people of all ages, from children to seniors! He gets beyond excited with attention and is a little clown. He will cuddle with best of them, loves to be held and would love to be your sleeping buddy. At 35 pounds this low rider is content sitting in your lap and basking in the love.
Slater would love a fenced in yard that he can run around in and play with his family. He loves his treats, and toys, but will gladly give them to you if you ask.

If you open your heart to him, he will keep you smiling 24 hours a day. How could anyone resist his ridiculous under bite!
He has a heart that is 10 times the size of his little 35 pound body, This 4 year old boy is crate trained, walks great on the leash and will love to be the center of attention. He will give you kisses for days on end.

Please consider opening your home to Slater. He has been ready and waiting for almost 2 years. We just can't figure out how no one has scoped this amazing boy up.
